Stuart Carrington

Stuart has a wealth of general tax and accountancy expertise and looks after a diverse range of clients in several different sectors. He specialises in charities, audit, and agriculture, is the lead partner for Diversity, Equality and Inclusion and heads up our Anti-Money Laundering team. Stuart has a particular interest in governance and accountability and regularly speaks on these topics.

Adam Croney

Adam leads the digital services team for Westcotts and provides clients with first-class specialist expertise and strategic advice on all the firm’s cloud accounting and digital services, as well as audit.
Working closely with large corporate clients and smaller owner-managed businesses is Adam’s forte. He is well-known and well-respected in Plymouth’s business community and has clients in the charity and not for profit, manufacturing and education sectors.

Mandy French

Mandy first joined Westcotts in 1994 and looks after a wide range of personal tax clients, sole traders, companies, and not-for-profit organisations, operating across diverse sectors including manufacturing, property, retail, and agriculture across Mid and East Devon.
Honest, hardworking, and positive are three-character traits that Mandy uses to describe herself and she particularly appreciates the diversity of her clients, “I’m approachable and trustworthy and really enjoy getting to know their businesses and being proactive with their individual needs.”

Shona Godefroy

Shona is our Managing Partner. She, together with the Management Board, which she chairs, are responsible for the strategic direction of the firm.
Her background is a top 4 International Accountancy firm where she was Audit Leader for a large regional office. She ensures that standards in the firm are maintained to an exceptional level. Running a large regional firm and overseeing many of the firms’ larger clients means Shona, with her team, can provide insightful business advice.

Mark Tibbert

Mark has a particular interest in tax advice and has advised owner-managed businesses through to international corporate organisations on reorganisations, acquisitions and disposals, and share schemes.
“I’ve advised on the UK tax aspects for acquirers and vendors of deals from £100,000 through to £80million+, covering the structure of the transactions from both a corporate and personal tax perspective, negotiating tax warranties and indemnities, and compiling due diligence reports.”
