Description
Digital is happening, whether you embrace it or not. Not only does digital create new revenue/profit opportunities, it also lowers entry barriers, so new start-ups will find it easier to eat you for lunch if you haven’t put the best e-commerce solution in place.
However, customers aren’t engaged by e-commerce just because it exists and simply adding a digital payment or fulfilment option to a traditional business model will not guarantee the future. The dynamics of purchase decisions are complex and involve many factors - success in e-commerce requires a clear understanding of these factors and development of solutions that add value.
Jon Newman of GJC Advisory will introduce the Total Cost of Transaction Model that he uses to assess e-commerce propositions, and will explain:
Kevin Bailey and Ross Bearman from Freeway Projects have extensive experience partnering with SMEs in online business, providing development and infrastructure expertise and practical advice.
An e-commerce presence is a great way to increase sales revenue, brand awareness and your company's profile - but it needs to be implemented well. Whether you're looking to start selling online or already have an established presence, there are many decisions to make and getting them right can make a large difference to your future revenue growth.
