Description
We will be receiving news and information on what is happening in and around the City and on this special occasion Councillor Sue Dann, Cabinet Member for Environment and Street Scene for Plymouth City Council will be launching the new Plymouth, Britain's Ocean City Plastics Taskforce Code of Conduct. This aims to help local businesses, individuals and other organisations to reduce single use plastics and tackle plastics pollution. The Plastics Taskforce is made up of a wide range of local partners from the public, private and voluntary sector in Plymouth.
Nina will be providing an overview of the exciting iMayflower project which is one of only five projects funded by the Cultural Development Fund.
The project, managed by Plymouth City Council brings together multiple partners, working together to drive change in the fast growing digital creative sector, creating jobs, delivering training and supporting businesses across to start up or grow.
This presentation will introduce you to the challenges we face and the opportunities that will benefit both environmental policies and corporate social responsibility targets, as well as leading by example.
