Description
Join us to experience our virtual panel session where we will be providing our business community with a platform where you can find expert advice in different subjects that are impacting on us all at this time and the opportunity to ask questions of our panel about your own specific situations.
Following the sudden and unprecedented impact of COVID19 we completely understand the challenges businesses are facing. Therefore, there has never been a better or more important time to be a member of the Chamber with the reliable, trusted support of a well-connected and influential business group that can provide you with valuable advice to support you and your business.
Following announcements in the Budget, the Department for Work and Pensions is making temporary arrangements to support those impacted by Coronavirus. This event will help to clarify some of the additional financial support available to you, your employees, family and friends, including how to claim Universal Credit. We will also discuss other sources of financial help for those who are not eligible for any of the current government initiatives, such as company directors and those who are self-employed.
Our expert panellists will include:
Tom Godwin - Director of External Affairs, Citizens Advice Plymouth & Head of Press, Citizens Advice Devon
Carla White - Plymouth’s Employer Engagement Manager - Job Centre Plus
Gary Martin - Plymouth Employer and Partnership Team - Job Centre Plus
Jacob Coburn - from the Economic Development Team at the Devon County Council
Paul Fox - from the Government’s Money & Pensions Service (MAPS)Images
