DESCRIPTION:If you are passionate about your business making positive changes to the environment\, then this event is a MUST where you can join us to discuss your ideas over breakfast. \n\n \n\nOn Thursday 28th July Devon & Plymouth Chamber will be hosting our Green Breakfast Networking event at Home Park\, the home of Plymouth Argyle. \n\n \n\nOur line-up of speakers include:\n\n\n\nSteve Warren-Brown\, Managing Director at YGS Landscapes\n\nAs headline sponsor for this event\, Steve will be sharing details on plans for the future and his partnership with the Chamber. \n\n \n\nBrendon Houghton Director at MEC Contracting\n\nBrendon will cover the road to Net Zero\, and how businesses can reduce their carbon footprint by "keeping things simple". There are many ways to aid going green which are not complicated\, expensive or time consuming and he will look to discuss various options for businesses of all sizes.\n\n \n\nChristian Kent\, Head of Venue at Hospitality & Events\, Plymouth Argyle Football Club\n\nOn Earth Day 2022\, Plymouth Argyle and the Argyle Community Trust announced the launch of their inaugural Energy and Environmental Plan\, which serves as the blueprint for Argyle's journey to Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions. Christian will be discussing this in more detail. \n\n \n\nGlen Gardner\, Cruise New Business Development Manager & Sustainable Tourism Project Manager at Destination Plymouth Ltd\n\nGlen will be talking about the Green Tourism sustainability accreditation programme that is running in Plymouth.\n\n \n\nThe Green Tourism accreditation programme helps\, celebrates and recognises business for being sustainable through an accredited assessment programme. It's a great way to gauge your business's sustainability.\n\n \n\nGareth Thomas\, Director at Zedify Plymouth\n\nZedify aims to create less congested\, less polluted and more liveable cities. They do this by pioneering and normalising the use of hyperlocal microhubs and zero emission vehicles for deliveries within cities.\n\n\n\nChaz Lawrence\, Director for Business Development in the South West at Inspired Energy PLC\n\nChaz will cover the journey for businesses to achieve Net Zero.
