DESCRIPTION:Devon & Plymouth Chamber would like to take this opportunity to invite you to the next Plymouth City Conversations Breakfast Event at The Box!\n\n\n\nCity Conversations is an invite only event that provides business leaders with strategic briefings on a wide variety of topics that are of interest to those in senior management roles. None of the presentations are sales-based and the event is not suitable for solely business development focused individuals.\n\n\n\nWe are excited to be hosting our September City Conversation's event at the Box in Plymouth. With outstanding displays of both local and global history\, this is a unique opportunity to check out the incredible space the Box has to offer as well as hearing from those who are facilitating other fantastic projects around Plymouth embracing art and culture.\n\n\n\nSpeakers include\n\n Nick Kelly\, Council Leader\, Plymouth City Council will be talking about the 9.5 million recently granted by The Heritage National Lottery Fund to build The Plymouth Sound National Marine Park. \n Tom Lavis\, CEO\, YMCA Plymouth & Discovery College will be discussing the YMCA's regeneration project which is well underway\, the SDS / Peer Network Programme\, and their commitment to Plymouth based contractors and resources in accordance with the Resurgam programme.\n Paul Fieldsend-Danks\, interim Principal and Chief Executive of Plymouth College of Art for the 2021/22 academic year will be talking about his plans for the college as well as the impact they are having on the city.\n Kate Farmery\, Head of Business at The Box\, will be shining light on the museums 40million refurbishment\, current exhibitions and their wider influence.
